Sealion dive in Espiritu Santo national park. You will enjoy the incredibly beautiful virgin beaches and landscapes. In the water, you have the chance to interact with baby sea lions as well as schools of fish and turtles.
Espíritu Santo island is home to around 600 sea lions giving you a high chance to enjoy cuddles on your dive with cheeky sea lion pups.
Sea Lion Dive Espiritu Santo gives you the opportunity to see mobula rays, dolphins, birds, and even whales on the way out to the dive site. The island has many different beaches where you can take walks, go for a swim or just enjoy the gorgeous scenery that only the Sea of Cortez can offer.
Espíritu Santo Island
Espíritu Santo Island is a protected area and was declared part of a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1995. This beautiful island is located in the sea of Cortez a few miles off the coast of La Paz.
Sea Lion Dive Espiritu Santo tour is built around high safety standards and we use well-trained captains, guides, and dive instructors to ensure you receive the best service possible. We want you to get the most from this excursion and remember it for life.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the marina in La Paz. There will be a breakfast snack for you in the transportation and we can stop along the way for breakfast and coffee.
Once the boat departs the marina your dive equipment will be assembled and tested for you so you can relax and enjoy the journey to the island. Along the way, you can watch out for dolphins and schools of mobula rays popping out of the water and you can enjoy the views of the wonderful beaches.
The boat is fast and comfortable with shade and has a lot of space to allow distancing.
When we arrive at the island have a briefing about the dive site. The dive will be an hour or as long as your tank can last so you get the most of the amazing marine life and playful sea lion pups.
You will then enjoy your lunch on an amazing beach and you can even have a snorkel while you are relaxing around the beaches.
On the boat ride back you have the chance to visit the bird colonies and see the amazing rock formations before heading back to the marina. On the drive back you can make a stop at Todo Santos to see the ‘magic town’ and hotel California before being dropped at your hotel.

The adventurous option
Sometimes one dive is not enough, if you would like to extend your day and dive at one of the famous shipwrecks of La Paz as well as playing with the sea lions you can look out for the resident turtle, big schools of fish, black corral and ever an ugly jaw fish if you are lucky.

Whale sharks and sea lions
Swim with the biggest fish in the world and cheeky sea lions in the same day. Whale sharks come to La Paz each year to feed, the whale shark area is very well regulated and we snorkel with the biggest fish in the world with a lot of respect. If you want to see the best bits of La Paz, this is the way to do it.
