Every June and July is a mating season for these fascinating animals and its also the time where the females have their young. During the first few months the baby Sealions are shy and very bad swimmers however, over time they grow, gain courage, and become the most graceful swimmers you will see in the water.
There are areas you can go and snorkel and even dive with the Sealions of La Paz. Los Islotes hosts around 400 individuals so there is a very high chance you will bump it to some. The babies will swim to you, interact, and even play with you which is what makes this area of La Paz so enchanting.
