Whale shark/ Sea lion Dive Combo lets you dive with the cheeky sea lions and snorkel with whale sharks on the same trip. The boat departs from the coast of La Paz, we can even provide you with transportation if needed.
Itinerary
Your adventure begins on the water. As we make our way to the whale shark area, sit back and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the beautiful waters of La Paz. Keep your eyes peeled along the way — you may even spot playful pods of dolphins travelling alongside the boat!
Meet the Whale Sharks
Once we arrive in the whale shark area, your experienced guide will give you a full safety briefing, including how to safely swim alongside and interact with these incredible animals. Your snorkel equipment will be provided, and your guide will make sure you’re comfortable and confident using it before entering the water.
Then it’s time for the unforgettable part — jump in and swim alongside the whale sharks! You’ll have the opportunity to enter the water several times, giving you plenty of chances to enjoy these magnificent gentle giants in their natural environment. Take your time, soak up the experience and enjoy every moment of this incredible encounter.
Dive with Sea Lions
Next, head to the sea lion colony for another unforgettable underwater experience. Certified divers can get in the water with the playful sea lion pups, whose curious and cheeky personalities make every dive unique.
The area is also home to a beautiful reef, where you can explore colourful coral formations and encounter a variety of tropical fish beneath the surface.
Mexican Lunch
After an action-packed day in the water, it’s time to relax and refuel with a delicious Mexican lunch. Sit back, enjoy the local flavours and take in the memories of an incredible day spent experiencing the marine life of La Paz.

Once on the water, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel with whale sharks and dive with playful sea lions, followed by a delicious lunch on the boat as you take in the stunning surroundings.
After an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters, we’ll return you safely to your transportation and take you back to your accommodation.
